Aptos Junior High Surfers new logo

Hey there,

I wanted to show off the new logos for our surf team. The logo with all the wings will be used on our jackets and the other logo will be for beanie hats and ball caps. We plan to have the jacket order placed this week. Also, I have sent out some test e-mails to confirm our team roster information, however I am still getting some returns stating the addresses are incorrect. Welcome to AJH Surf Team 2009!

It was great to see everyone at the first practice last Friday!

No Practice today, Friday, March 6

Waves have been small, small, small lately! Hopefully it will pick up next week.

Surf practice will be at Manresa Beach on Friday, Feb. 27. After practice we will meet at Village Host Pizza at around 6:00. All surfers and their families are welcome!

Our last contest is on Sunday, March 1st at Manresa Beach. We hope to see everyone and all three of these events!

Please contact Ms. Welles in room 6 if you are interested in participating in the state championships in April.

Surf practice today (Feb 20), 4 pm, Capitola

Friday practice cancelled, rescheduled for Sunday 3 pm

Due to the weather and rough conditions, today's practice has been cancelled. The team will practice Sunday at 3 pm. I assume it will be at Capitola, but check back here on Saturday or Sunday.

UPDATE: Practice 3pm Sunday, at Capitola. Tide will be very low.

Finding any waves? Not much out there during the past week, but I know some of the kids have been finding something to surf on every single day! (....and I have the sandy car and wet towels to prove it!)
